I have now taken over from Roz, as I'm sure you will all agree it is sad that Roz has left, as without a doubt she has done a fab job as Secretary with organising concert tickets, and the video for hopefully Nik's first number 1 hit 'I WON'T LET THE SUN GO DOWN' at Hammersmith Odeon amongst many other things. So I'm sure you'll join Nik, Mickey and myself in wishing Roz every success and luck (not that she'll need it) for the future ...
Now on with the newsletter. Well, what a hectic last 8 months for Nik with the huge success of the brill hit single 'WOULDN'T IT BE GOOD' reaching the number 4 spot, and 'DANCING GIRLS' topping the charts at number 13.
'WOULDN'T IT BE GOOD' has not only done well in the UK but has been in the Top Ten in no less than 6 countries i.e. Australia, New Zealand, Germany, Holland, Switzerland, Italy and is progressing well in Spain. Incidentally, the sales for 'WOULDN'T IT BE GOOD' are now a staggering MILLION and as I write this progressing all the time ... and to top it off 'WOULDN'T IT BE GOOD' has already had 2 cover versions.
I must mention that Nik was really amazed but pleased with your tremendous support given during the past months, and has written a special thank you letter to you all.
